Tasman Peninsula

The Tasman Peninsula is well known as a game fishing hotspot in Tasmania. As the East Australian Current pushes in tight to the coastline here, it brings with it many sports fish very close to the shore, making for excellent fishing. The main target here is bluefin tuna, but mako sharks as well as bottom fish such as striped trumpeter are available.

Charters can depart from Pirates Bay or Fortescue Bay.
